Started production of capacitors at Tanaka Plant, Shinyei Denki Co., Ltd.

Developed and marketed a polypropylene film capacitor jointly with Toyo Rayon (Toray)
August 1966
Changed company name to Shinyei Kaisha upon taking over subsidiaries Shinyei Denki Co., Ltd. and Oita Seishi Co., Ltd.

Established overseas affiliated company in Singapore. Expanded business to global market
July 1992
Established overseas affiliated company in Malaysia. Started production of capacitors.
